Trivedi added to DCCC program

Add Manan Trivedi to the list of Democrats that the party thinks can capture Republican-held seats.

Trivedi, the Reading doctor and candidate in the 6th Congressional District, was added on Monday to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee’s “Red to Blue” program. The program serves as the DCCC’s hub for promoting and helping candidates competing in Republican-controlled districts (the program also encompasses the committee’s open-seat efforts).

Fresh off a big primary win but facing a steep uphill climb in the money race, Democrat Manan Trivedi has hired a new finance director.

Months ahead of competitive general election contests, Congressmen Jim Gerlach (R-6) and Charlie Dent (R-15) are already getting some help.
