Cawley moves toward Lt. Gov. run
Bucks County Commissioner Jim Cawley took a step toward running for Lieutenant Governor Tuesday, when he announced formation of an exploratory committee to seek the Republican nomination for the office.
If Cawley ultimately runs, he will join a packed crowd of Republican hopefuls that includes state lawmakers, municipal leaders and other candidates. Few Democrats are seeking the office so far.

Yet another GOPer floated for Lt. Gov.
As if there weren’t enough Republicans on the list of potential Lieutenant Governor candidates, there’s one more name to add: Jim Cawley.
The Bucks County Commissioner tells The Intelligencer that he wants to help state Attorney General Tom Corbett win the governorship, and is already pitching in for the GOP front-runner’s fundraising efforts.

In response to my story about the plethora of Republican considering the Lieutenant Governor’s race—and the lack of Democrats—several people have pointed out THAT I MISSED A GOPer!
Yes, apparently a dozen isn’t enough.
Bucks County Commissioner Jim Cawley is apparently also considering the race.
