    Former Lieutenant Governor Bill Scranton endorsed Congressman Jim Gerlach’s (R-6) gubernatorial candidacy Thursday, giving Gerlach the backing of a household name in the Republican Party.

    Scranton, who was Lt. Gov. in the 1980s and whose father was governor in the 1960s, called Gerlach “the only candidate with the right experience and bold vision to lead Pennsylvania.”

  • Scranton not running for Senate

    Former Lt. Gov. Bill Scranton’s name has been bandied about a lot in recent days as Republicans have cast about for a new Senate candidate.
