The federal government is getting close to possibly shutting down for the first time since 1996. A Harrisburg consulting group becomes Specter Central
The Eagle Consulting Group serves Republican candidates and organizations across the state. But nowadays when you call the Harrisburg political shop, you get a much more specific answer.
“Citizens for Arlen Specter,” the man answering the phone says.
It’s understandable that Eagle Consulting would be All Things Arlen. The Republican Senator is facing the toughest fight of his political career, taking on a conservative base furious with him—and gaga for his main opponent, former Republican Congressman Pat Toomey.
