  • NRSC Pledges Full Support to Specter’s Re-Election

    Harrisburg — The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) today pledged their complete support for Pennsylvania Senator Arlen Specter.

    In a letter to Republican leaders across the state, NRSC Chairman Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) pointedly detailed why Specter is the GOP’s best bet to hold onto the U.S. Senate seat in 2010. Cornyn said Specter’s re-election, “is vital if we are to regain our majority in the Senate.” He continued, “A vote for Arlen Specter is a vote for denying Harry Reid and the Democrats a filibuster-proof Senate.”
