Hundreds of Pennsylvania union members from the public and private sector and their supporters rallied on the Capitol steps Saturday afternoon in solidarity with the embattled public unions in Wisconsin.

Workers displayed signs showing their support for Wisconsin public unions, some of which stand to lose most of their collective bargaining rights. One sign read simply “Wiscon-sylvania.” Others read, “It’s about real people vs. really rich people,” “Enjoy your weekend, thank a union,” and “Commonwealth or Corporate Wealth.”

Toomey narrowly beats Sestak, GOP flips control of House delegation in historic vote

PA-08 race gets nasty as both sides trade fraud allegations in the closing hours

A decision by the Bucks County Board of Elections could mean that we might have to wait to learn the results of the race between incumbent Democrat Patrick Murphy and challenger Mike Fitzpatrick./p
pAt issue are at least 8,000 absentee ballots. On Friday, the Republican-controlled elections board voted to sequester the ballots until they can investigate the allegations.
