Obama captaining a Ship Of Fools?
April 28, 2009 at 1:26 pm
I remember talking to a Democratic official late last year who confessed to me their concerns about President Barack Obama and his ability to put together a team capable of leading our country. The official reminded me that Obama, a young politician, doesn’t have a large or experienced staff and doesn’t have many “people.” I didn’t fully understand what that person meant until Obama took office. The current President does not have a bench of…

Jack Wagner has made an art out of doing little as our Commonwealth’s Auditor General. Wagner has outsourced his job to newspapers to track down the fraud and waste that has run rampant during Gov. Ed Rendell’s two terms. Whether it has been PHEAA wasting tens of thousands of taxpayer dollars on junkets and conventions at plush resorts or the current bonus scandal that is unfolding in Harrisburg, Jack Wagner has turned the other cheek…

As you have probably read in the news lately, state Representative Josh Shapiro (D-Montgomery) is being considered as a potential Senate candidate and he has certainly not been shy or coy about his interest in running for the office on the Democrat ticket.
Yesterday’s business on the state House floor did not do his chances for a potential bid any favors, as the House debated his hand-held cell phone ban. If you watched any of…

With all the attention being paid to the contested U.S. Senate and gubernatorial contests, it’s easy for many Pennsylvanians to overlook the important congressional races that will take place in 2010.
Our Party is not taking these races for granted and is looking forward to winning some of these important races.

Busy Day! At noon at 112 State Street in Harrisburg, our Party is hosting a press conference with Attorney General Tom Corbett who will be formally endorsing our endorsed PA GOP judicial team led by Supreme Court candidate Judge Joan Orie Melvin. Should be a great event and I would encourage anyone in the area to stop by if they have a chance.
Check out the following story regarding the current voter registration numbers by clicking here. I think there will probably be no stats more analyzed and talked about than the deficit in registered voters our Party faces heading into the 2010 election cycle.
How will the registration gap affect the 2010 elections and our candidates?

Over the weekend, President Barack Obama was seen hugging, joking, smiling and laughing with Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez. Chavez is the same man who referred to our country’s sitting President as “the devil” and just recently called President Obama an “ignoramus.”
So how does our current President reward him for publically denouncing our country numerous times? Yes, he openly hugs and jokes with a dictator who controls his media and has put down any demonstration that questions his leadership through force.

Greetings!
Thank you for taking the time to stop by The PA GOP Pulse, a blog where I hope to provide visitors with the most up-to-date news from the Republican Party. I am honored to be working with pa2010.com to share some insight from the Party leading up to what promises to be an exciting and eventful election cycle.
Before we embark on this journey, I want to let you know a little bit about who I am. I have been the Communications Director for the Republican Party of Pennsylvania for the past three years and I consider myself incredibly blessed to have the opportunity to spend my day working to elect qualified Republican candidates.
Our Party is excited about the future and has a renewed sense of optimism heading into the 2009-2010 election cycle. With President Obama and the Democrats implementing an agenda that increases taxes, expands the size of our government and is implementing a foreign policy that has already put our country at risk, our Party understands that we have an opportunity to provide a clear alternative that includes an emphasis on reducing taxes, a commitment to reducing the size and role of our government and protecting Americans’ personal freedoms.
Those Republican principles have never failed this country!
Check back often.
