Caught up with school…
Wanted to briefly comment on the Pa. Society weekend. Why wasn’t I invited?
Okay, a fight I can actually win. You know, I just get constantly reminded when this comes around each year of that commercial from 2006. It was Bob Casey’s campaign team meeting in the smoke-filled prison cell. I hate to side with Gene Stilp, I really do, but I can’t help it. It’s more about the humor than…

Its not Bonusgate… I promise.
I just instinctively have had a problem with Tom Corbett. I didn’t know quite what it was, but it was always there. And recently, I realized—could it really be that obvious?
I love prosecutors. They keep us safe, and that keeps us sane. But, other than “office managing” and “keeping me safe” what have they really done?
Nothing, really.
It’s not that I don’t think Tom Corbett would make a…

I don’t need to discuss Bonusgate, so I’ll just turn it into something creative and entertaining…
Who do you think would do better in prison… Vince Fumo or John Perzel?
In order to prove your point, submit a funny graphic of either one in a prison jumpsuit. I’d love to see if anyone does this

Full StoryThe worthless polls
November 13, 2009 at 12:00 pm
I hate polling.
Its completely pointless. It only erodes the democratic process and hurts voter turnout. So, Arlen Specter’s varying leads over Joe Sestak shows the inconsistency of these polls, right?
Well, apparently other politicians don’t understand that. I’m getting fed up with those candidates who advertise on their Web sites that, “I lead in a new poll by (insert overly large, non-reliable number here) points.
Please chime in on this issue. I may just…

I’d like to refocus again on last wee’s elections. As much as I think that they show at least a little discontent with the liberal agenda, no one seems to agree with me. In Pennsylniva, Joan Orie Melvin’s win at least gives some energy in the idea that well-run Republican campaign can win a statewide election.
In 2010, my eyes are on two states, Connecticut and Florida. In Florida, a Marco Rubio victory in the…

Whether or not this is truly live, well…
1. The win in Virginia is very encouraging, especially considering the margin.
2. Extremely optimistic about New Jersey.
3. Very close PA Supreme Court Election, potentially a Melvin Victory.

The withdrawal of Dede Scozzafava from the NY-23 special election deeply concerns me. It’s obvious that a moderate wing of the Republican Party is not possible. Not to start a riot (which I’m sure this wouldn’t), but the idea of a real third party wouldn’t surprise me. If the Republican Party cannot field a viable candidate against a more conservative third-party because they are too “liberal,” the end is near for the liberal Republican.
This…
