Three days to Election Day. Make sure you know where your polling place is:
- Pennsylvanians can go to www.votespa.com
- Philadelphia area residents can call 866-268-8603
Tuesday, November 2, Election Day!
Philadelphians, please push the #1 button to vote a straight Democratic ticket, or push ‘em separately:
#101 – Joe Sestak
#102 – Dan Onorato & H. Scott Conklin
#103 – Your Democratic Congressional Candidate
#105 – Your State Rep Candidate
You’ve heard a lot from me about why Sestak; here’s why Onorato:
HEALTHCARE: Onorato supports Obama’s reforms (including out-lawing existing-conditions exclusions). Corbett is suing to invalidate the new law.
MARCELLUS SHALE: Onorato supports a competitive tax in line with that of 27 other states. Corbett opposes any tax.
JOBS: On July, 2010, Corbett said, “If we keep on extending unepmployment, people are just going to sit there…. The jobs are there.” Under Onorato’s leadership, Allegheny County has increased manufacturing jobs and had better jobs numbers than the American average.
GUNS: CeaseFirePA has endorsed Onorato for his support of reasonable gun laws. Corbett has the NRA endorsement.
EDUCATION: PA Education Voters has endorsed Onorato for his solid, knowledgeable, compassionate policies and vision on education issues. Corbett thinks we can’t afford to improve education.
Turnout in Philly will determine the results of the Gubernatorial and Senate races this year. GET OUT AND VOTE. If you don’t vote, you can’t complain.
Thanks as always for your attention.
