New Trivedi ad hits Gerlach for not ‘listening’

New Trivedi ad hits Gerlach for not ‘listening’

Democrat Manan Trivedi has released a new TV ad in the 6th District slamming incumbent Republican Jim Gerlach for not ‘listening’ to his constituents.

The 30 second ad started airing Tuesday night. In the ad, Trivedi attacks the fourth term incumbent for his vote against the H.R. 4213 (American Jobs and Closing Tax Loopholes Act), which the ad frames as supporting tax breaks for companies that ship jobs overseas. The ad also attacks Gerlach for accepting pay raises while opposing increasing the minimum wage.

“So until those jobs come back home, I’ll take a pay cut,” Trivedi promises in the ad.

Watch the full ad, titled “Listen” here.

A Monmouth University poll released Thursday, conducted just as the ad hit the air, shows Gerlach leading Trivedi by ten points among likely voters.

Snore. Snore. Trivedi hops from issue to issue faster than the energizer bunny. He changes the “issues” he is running on minute by minute because there is “no there there” in his candidacy or his campaign. If you are going to run for Congress is might be a good idea to figure out what you want to do “for real”.

Politigator – hate to burst your bubble, but you may want to go back and watch his ads again. Trivedi has been talking about Gerlach’s pay raises and how he will end the tax cuts for companies outsourcing American jobs (which Gerlach voted for) from the very beginning. Nothing could be more damning as a “there there” than Gerlach opening the door for American jobs to be lost to China.

who does his ads? they are awful.

hey charles, the stimulus that trivedi supported gave billions of tax credits to companies that then turned around and had their windmills and solar panels built in China. That’s not some political hokey pokey, that’s a documented fact. So actually, Trivedi would’ve voted to ship jobs to China. I guess he won’t mention that in his ad.

This ad is worse than “Clerks 2″. Anyone who donated money to this boob’s campaign should ask for a refund.

Watch this commercial carefully. Is it just me or does the candidate appear to have an arousal?

Wow. This site has really lowered itself since the new take over. Is this a new crowd of tea party members making comments like this? I guess if they are wasting their time with racist and sexual insults instead of talking to voters, Democrats should feel good.

Suzie, thanks for your concern. I am not a tea party member; I am a Democrat who happens to enjoy humor. I do feel good, but not when it comes to Trivedi. He just doesn’t have what it takes (no pun intended).
