Trivedi keeps defining himself in second ad
With little time left to build name recognition before Election Day, Democrat Manan Trivedi is now running two TV ads in suburban Philadelphia’s 6th Congressional District.
Trivedi’s campaign unveiled its second ad Wednesday morning, a day after the first. The latest 30-second spot focuses on Trivedi’s biography as an Iraq War veteran and primary care doctor—credentials Democrats hope will finally be enough to unseat Congressman Jim Gerlach (R-6).
“Whether my name was on my uniform as a battalion surgeon in Iraq, or as a primary care physician at home,” Trivedi says in the ad. “I’ve always had a mission to serve my community, and my country.”
See the ad below. The ad will be fact-checked later as part of pa2010.com‘s new AD WATCH feature.

Wow that ad sucks. Manan is a self righteous punk. Gerlachs going to destroy him. Can we get a serious Dem to run in 2012…I’m getting sick of this.
