Onorato: Pronunciation ad works

The new TV ad in which Democratic gubernatorial candidate Dan Onorato tells voters how to pronounce his name has had some insiders chuckling. But Onorato says it’s working.

“Out of all the commercials I’ve done in the primary and now in the general,” Onorato said Tuesday on Fox29, “this one gets more reaction from voters on the street than anything else I’ve done so far.”

Onorato insisted the pronunciation lessons are just to make sure folks get his name right—and not an indication voters don’t know who he is.

See video of his Fox29 appearance below.

“If you look at the polls where I’m winning…”

What poll would that be? He hasn’t even tied yet. The closest he has gotten is losing slightly in one bizarre poll, and now he has 1/2 the money? Pack it in, Danno.

    Sick of it all:

Are you posting that from Mars or some distant solar system? Because on Earth, its game over for Onorato.

The “voice over” does not seem to pronounce Mr. Onorato’s name as Mr. Onorato does. Listen to it.
