Kelly teams up with NRCC for ad buy
National Republicans have made their first coordinated ad buy with a candidate in Pennsylvania.
The National Republican Congressional Committee and 3rd District candidate Mike Kelly started airing a 30-second spot Monday, a part-positive, part-negative ad, as the Butler car dealer seeks to unseat incumbent Democrat Kathy Dahlkemper.
The ad takes the familiar GOP tack of tying Dahlkemper to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and faults her for supporting the economic stimulus package last year. It bills Kelly as a “businessman” and “job creator” who “works for us.”
“From growing up here, these are the finest people in the world,” Kelly says in the ad. “You send me to Congress, I’m going to do what’s right for you.”
See the ad below. It will be fact-checked later as part of pa2010.com‘s new AD WATCH feature.

It says something that the NRCC is pumping cash into these candidates like Kelly and Marino.
IE – These districts could/should be competitive, but our candidates don’t have enough money to make it a real race. Particularly in PA-10 I would think. Doesn’t Casino Marino have like $10?
