Pat Meehan Prevails in Second Debate
By MEEHAN FOR CONGRESS
DREXEL HILL, PA – During the second debate of the campaign season between Pat Meehan and his opponent Bryan Lentz, Pat Meehan demonstrated an understanding of concerns most important to voters, while Bryan Lentz attempted to defend his record of raising taxes and increasing spending in Harrisburg.
Following the debate, Meehan for Congress campaign manager Bryan Kendro issued the following statement:
“Tonight’s debate was just another illustration that Bryan Lentz’s tax and spend policies are bad for the 7th district and bad for our country’s future. Actions speak louder than words, and Lentz can’t run from his voting record where he supported a $100 million slush fund in Harrisburg,” said Kendro. “And while Pat Meehan discussed performance based budgeting and a balanced budget amendment as a way to rein in spending, Bryan Lentz came up empty, only acknowledging that he would raise taxes on the hard working men and women of our district.”
