Petition hardball

It was pretty low for supporters of Dan Onorato to try and get this so-called Tea Party guy John Krupa on the ballot. It didn’t work, and Onorato’s campaign says it wasn’t involved.

Still, it’s just plain wrong to try overcoming a large disadvantage by introducing a fraud candidate into the race.

Now, to be fair, this conduct certainly goes both ways. The case of Carl Romanelli in 2006 is a prime example of Republicans…

Onorato sees a flip-flop in Corbett’s tax pledge

Onorato sees a flip-flop in Corbett’s tax pledge

Democrat Dan Onorato on Wednesday aggressively called into question his GOP rival’s pledge not to raise taxes as governor, pointing out contradictory statements given by Tom Corbett’s campaign about the specifics of the pledge.

During a conference call with reporters, Onorato noted that Corbett’s campaign told Capitolwire ( p“Yesterday, Tom feels some heat from the media and now the pledge includes fees, while in March it didn’t,” Onorato said. “Every time he feels a little pressure he changes his point of view. I have no idea what he stands for, no idea what the pledge means.”/p
pOnorato’s latest comments came a day after his campaign hit Corbett for a href="http://www.pa2010.acom/2010/08/leftovers-toomey-and-privatization-mocking-indie-cred-a-poll-a-22-year-old-tax/" onclick="javascript:_gaq.push(['_trackEvent','outbound-article','http://www.pa2010.acom']);return TrackClick("http%3A%2F%2Fwww.pa2010.acom%2F2010%2F08%2Fleftovers-toomey-and-privatization-mocking-indie-cred-a-poll-a-22-year-old-tax%2F','a+vote+he+made+to+increase+local+property+taxes+22+years+ago')" target="_blank">a vote he made to increase local property taxes 22 years ago

The original BlueBlast is back!

It’s great to be back on pa2010.com!

During these past few months, I’ve missed the exchanges and ability to directly comment on this year’s important races. Once again, I welcome the opportunity to provide input on contests up and down the ballot. As Chris Matthews pointed out in his book several years ago, you don’t allow any shots to go unanswered.

Rest assured that The BlueBlast will not allow shots to go unanswered, particularly with…
