Down-ballot update

This is outside our coverage umbrella here, but an e-mail showed up in the pa2010.com Central inbox that was worth a mention:

The Democrats’ state Senate campaign committee has a new chairman, and it’s the always unfiltered Daylin Leach.

“I am honored to accept the position of Chairman of the DSSCC, and to do so with the support of Senators Costa and Stack, as well as the full support of my Democratic colleagues in the Senate,” Leach said in a statement. “Voters across the Commonwealth are looking for new leadership in the Pennsylvania State Senate, and my role as Chairman of the DSSCC is to give a voice to those voters to bring change to Harrisburg.”
