Dean headlining fundraiser for Lentz, Trivedi
The Democratic Party’s liberal conscience is coming to southeast Pennsylvania next month to raise some campaign cash for Bryan Lentz and Manan Trivedi.
Howard Dean, the former Vermont governor, Democratic National Committee chairman and presidential candidate, will be in suburban Philadelphia on Sept. 22 for a joint fundraiser benefiting the two congressional candidates. The evening event is set to be held at state Senator Daylin Leach’s home in Wayne.
Trivedi is running in the 6th District while Lentz is seeking the open seat in the 7th. Both face better-funded opponents, but Dean remains a solid fundraising draw for the party faithful who could help them narrow the money gap.

The above is a typical eloquent arguement from the facts by a republican operative.

That’s a pretty big get. WTG boys. I imagine Meehan is going to use this to paint Lentz as a flaming commie liberal. (Gerlach is already doing it to Trivedi, so this is just more ammo.)

I’m guessing Pelosi or Reid weren’t available?

It is truly remarkable how bereft of knowledge and facts you “conservatives” are. Fact #1. Howard Dean was reelected as Governor of Vermont multiple times while holding a 100% rating from the NRA.
Fact #2, prior to running for the VT. State Legislature, Dean was a practicing physician (his wife is still a practicing physician).
Fact #3, Dean quit a lucrative position on Wall Street to go back to college to complete med school prerequisites he didn’t take as an undergrad at Yale and then completed med school, residency, etc.
Fact #4 as DNC chair from 2005-2008 Dean lead the Democratic Party to huge majorities in both the House and Senate and set the stage for Obama’s election to President.
Fact #5, characterizing Dean, or physician and Iraqi War vet Trivedi for that matter, as “a flaming commie liberal” is at least incredibly ignorant if not down right stupid, but I guess that’s par for the course.
Moreover, having had multiple opportunities to talk at length with Gov. Dean, MD, I know him to be extremely intelligent, with a keen understanding of a wide range of public policy issues and to be quite pragmatic when it comes to the role of government at all levels, not to mention an extremely nice person. So please do go ahead and display your ignorance, it lends oh so much credibility to your positions and your candidates.

Word on the street is that Sarah “Half Term” Palin, the former Alaskan governor will be turning it on for Gerlach. Rush isn’t available.
