Corrections and clarifications
It’s time for an overdue corrections column. A reminder that you can always view all of our corrections and clarifications by clicking on the Corrections tag.
•An article and corresponding headline on Aug. 23 about spending in the Senate race misleadingly described how much money the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee will spend. It has made ad buys and airtime reservations totaling about $4.4 million, but it has not committed itself to definitely spending that entire amount.
•An article on Aug. 20 about wealthy donors who will stay on the sidelines in the gubernatorial race carried an incorrect byline. It was written by Laura Goldman, not Rikard Larma.
•An article on Aug. 20 about press coverage of the race in the 17th Congressional District misspelled, in one mention, the surname of a political director at the National Republican Congressional Committee. As was noted elsewhere in the article, he is Brock McCleary, not McClearly.
