Clinton joins Michelle on Sestak’s A-list
There was an interesting confluence of events Wednesday for Democrat Joe Sestak: He marked the one-year anniversary of his (finally official) announcement that he’d run for U.S. Senate, while at the same time his campaign announced that his former White House boss Bill Clinton would stump at a rally for Sestak.
Is Sestak concerned that when the two appear together in Scranton, it will re-open the sideshow debate about how Clinton, acting on behalf of the Obama administration, tried to prod Sestak out of the primary against Arlen Specter?
“I am honored to have worked for President Clinton,” Sestak said. “He created 22 million jobs. [Republicans under George Bush] created none. We’re going to talk about creating jobs.”
Sestak seems to be carefully choosing who should join him on the trail. In July, Sestak told the Pennsylvania Press Club that he wants First Lady Michelle Obama to come to Pennsylvania for campaign stops. Her husband is less popular in the polls. Plus, he supported Specter, the man Sestak handily defeated in the Democratic primary.

I’m sure Fox News will make a fuss about it, but this is really all about motivating Democrats outside of the Phila suburbs to jump on board with Admiral Sestak’s campaign.

Is the rally in Scranton a fundraiser with a large contribution required for separate/private photo-op with Clinton?

What a lying @$&! that Sestak is. Go ahead Pennsylvnia elect him to put you and your state even further behind. Even Californians are beginning to wake up.
Murtha was probably right in his estimation of Pennsylvanians.

I do believe that Sestak was in Washington for an important vote. My God, a congressman who actually puts his job first. Trust the right wing to put their usual BS out there, for those too lazy to pay attention. Richard, just what are we Californians waking up to? Do you really intend to vote for a megalomaniac who spent most of her life paying no attention to our government, admitted shoving an employee and using her position for personal gain? CA can’t afford her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
