A fundraising correction

The second FEC quarter can be confusing, because it’s actually less than a quarter of a year. Officially, it refers to the day after the pre-primary reporting period closes (April 29) and the end of June. But campaigns sometimes also refer to the second quarter as the actual second quarter of the year, April 1 through June 30.

Staffing up, Lentz readies a change of campaign manager

As he staffs up considerably for the homestretch before Election Day, Democrat Bryan Lentz is getting ready to switch campaign managers.

Vincent Rongione, who has run Lentz’s 7th District congressional campaign for more than seven months, is transitioning to a general consulting role.
