Dahlkemper sitting on more than $1M

Less than four months before Election Day, Congresswoman Kathy Dahlkemper (D-3) has more than $1 million in the bank.

That’s a war chest about 10 times the size of Republican Mike Kelly’s, an advantage that could prove key in the cheap northwestern Pennsylvania media market.

Dahlkemper, a freshman, raised about $280,000 between April 29 and June 30, according to campaign finance data. She’s raised $1.5 million since capturing the seat in 2008, and has spent relatively lightly this cycle, finishing last month just over the $1 million mark.

The race is currently No. 2 on the pa2010.com Congressional Power Rankings.

    This woman is impressive and has a clear advantage over her opponent whose showing is pitiful. This should be a heavily favored dem ranking. i think we should watch her…

    She is not impressive. She is a coward. She hid behind the cloud of “undecided” during the Health Care debate too spineless to openly let District 3 know her true intentions.

    She does not deserve re-election based on that single vote alone.

    She deserves a one way trip to Cuba where she can live in bliss.

    She raised money by attending far left fundraisers in Philly. I wonder how much money she’s raised from her own district, if any.
