Corbett has run two statewide campaigns. He’s been all over the news for two years, thanks to the Bonusgate prosecution. He’s the anointed candidate in a year when Rs are supposed to run away with the elections…And he’s still only polling at 43 percent. This is a race, folks.

What the silent majority of Pennsylvanians are saying at the local swim clubs, restaurants, softball fields and bars is that what Corbett says is TRUE. The Democratic party has become nothing but fearmongers that scares people into believing that the only way they will get money is if it comes from the government. I’ll take Bob Asher directing a campaign rather than the Donna Cooper-types any day. No more six figure poverty pimps!

Though not a silver bullet, it is a clear signal that Corbett is Onorato’s secret weapon in the latter’s campaign for gov. It’s Corbett’s election to lose — and so far he’s trying his best to do so.

Neither of these candidates is fit to be governor of Pa. A sad state of affairs for residents in this state, we’re all the losers in this race come Nov. We need to end the two party system and have more choice for voters to consider. End the two party system, NOW.

Funny how the Dems actually believe this is a political silver bullet. The voters don’t care about this issue according to recent polls. Onorato continues to be the underdog. Sure, the Dems will feature Corbett’s comments in TV ads this fall. The problem for Onorato and gang is that this will occur at the same time the GOP is ripping Onorato’s tenure as an elected official to shreds with millions of dollars in ads of their own.

In the end, this is a story that will be lost in the fall election. Overrated in importance, good for slow summer news days but nothing more.
