Beth I know Repubs hate facts,but the fact is that 90% of our National Debt was created by the last three Republican Presidents. Almost half of it by that moron your party foisted on us in 2000.

You know what? I LOVE this video. Seriously. It is about the best exhibit I can think of to get people to vote for Pat Murphy.

Teabaggers think that ordinary voters share their paranoid, apocalypse-ian, Beck & Hannity view of the world and politics. This video, complete with its the-sky-is-falling Carmina Burana soundtrack and photo montage of aborted fetuses plays like Teabagger Porn, and I’m sure they react accordingly when they see it.

For the rest of us — the sane majority — it’s just another piece of convincing proof that Murphy is the one and only choice in PA-8.

By the way, let’s make this an open comment to Dan Hirschorn:

Dan, don’t you think you should at least post a pretty obvious warning above the video that Beth has chosen to place on your website, warning potential viewers that the video includes graphic photo images of aborted fetuses?

Personally, I find this kind of campaigning horrifying, but as I said above, those who view it will probably walk away in support of Patrick Murphy, candidate who does NOT engage in this sort of barbarity.

Still, a warning does seem in order.

let alone the blatent politicing for a candidate that Beth has committed hers. I doubt she would post a similar “anonymous” video that attacked Mike Fitzgerald here.

Beth has always been up-front about who she works for, so the politicking is expected, Bill; the Teabagger Porn of aborted fetuses is not.

And just one more word on this: wouldn’t the Bucks County Courier be interested in the fact that a Fitzpatrick campaign official was posting videos of aborted fetuses online attempting to smear Patrick Murphy?

I know that’s a story I’d read if I saw it in the paper.

That’s a pretty powerful reason for moderate Republicans like me to vote for Patrick Murphy.

1) If Beth Hegedus wants to put this garbage up she should be required to disclose who produced it. For all we know Beth Hegedus could have produced it.

2) I can understand having Republican and Democrat state Party office holders on the site as guest columnists from time to time with OpEd pieces. This on the other hand is a blatant attack ad, not an OpEd piece and has no place on a site that wants to provide balanced coverage. Beth Hegedus is not a state Party office holder to my knowledge. Is she a state or county committee woman?

3) Murphy and his political people would never, and I mean NEVER, allow some low level volunteer/staffer at the Beth Hegedus level to put up a video on a political website which slanders Fitzpatrick. This is gutter politics.

This little stunt will back fire on Beth and Fitzpatrick. I can almost gurantee that I will have a DCCC email in my inbox today talking about how Fitz is slandering our boy. I’ll be sure to contribute.

What does that video mean when it says Murphy “will pay big time”? Is that a threat? If his constituents want to vote him out that’s one thing but “pay big time”? Can we get some explanation on what that implies?

You go Beth!!! You post this garbage, then ask Dan to take it down? What a coward you are. You are SOOOOOOOOOO out of your league. Keep it up. Let’s make sure we let the world know what the Fitz camp is doing…that should make it a breeze for Murphy in the fall.

Beth you Big Coward Put that Video Back up Before Fitzpatric Dies Of Colon Cancer that he did not completely cure yet

Well, as Church Lady used to say, “Isn’t that conveeeeenient?”

It appears the video that Beth originally linked to has just — poof! — disappeared, at just about the same time that this column reappeared.

Fortunately, when it became clear last night that the original video was being replaced elsewhere (namely, on J.D.Mullane’s Bucks County Courier blog) by an edited version, I downloaded a copy of the original for safekeeping. And I’ve now loaded it back onto YouTube.

Be forewarned: as I’ve repeatedly mentioned in the comments above and elsewhere, this video contains multiple images of mutilated fetuses. Without those images, this would just be another laughfest of Beck-inspired Armegeddon political theater. But those images that flash by in the several seconds after the 2:50 mark are sick and disturbing and call into question the candidate and campaign staff that posted them.

And Beth — since the video now exists again, you can re-embed it into your column above, so that all the world can see the images of aborted fetuses that make such a compelling case to vote for Mike Fitzgerald.

Beth is a upstanding woman and a volunteer for Mike Fitzpatrick (as she disclosed). Why is everyone attacking her? Could it be that there is truth to the video?

Murphy won’t hold a REAL Town Hall because he’s afraid he might be asked to explain why he voted for Obama Care, Cap n’ Tax and why he supports amnesty for Illegal Aliens. (I know he says he doesn’t, but we all know he does!) I also know he’s had a rough time with two “Constituent Open Office Hours” he’s held in Quakertown and more recently, here in Langhorne. However, perhaps if he actually held a Town Hall, people would not get so frustrated and angry at Pat!

I keep saying: you rabid teabaggers are the best message Patrick Murphy has going. Please keep it up. Regular, sane voters simply want no part of your foaming-at-the-mouth message.

I am disappointed that this website would allow such a blatantly biased person to post under the title Suburban Snapshot. Beth is a stone cold Republican who wrote this little valentine to the Montgomery in which she gushed over the wonderful things that the GOP does.

She does not represent a snapshot of any suburb I live near. I don’t mind the the writers who are clear in their affiliation. but I don’t trust a site that allows someone like this to claim veneer of objectivity.

Beth Hegedus has been up front about who she is and who she works for. That’s why I’ve been saying this controversy about the video is an issue that reflects poorly on the Fitzpatrick campaign.

But I agree that Dan and pa2010.com could do a better job making that affiliation clear right in the header for each of these columnists, with a short bio statement telling who these people are and why they are part of the blog.
