Pro-life group pledges $300K against Dahlkemper

The high-profile, anti-abortion political group Susan B. Anthony List is ready to go to bat big time to defeat Congresswoman Kathy Dahlkemper (D-3).

Politico reports that the group will endorse Dahlkemper’s Republican opponent Mike Kelly and will spend more than $300,000 on the race in the 3rd Congressional District. The relatively cheap media markets in the northwest Pennsylvania district make that investment more than just a drop in the bucket.

As a freshman, pro-life Democrat who helped craft the abortion-related compromises in the recently-enacted health care reform law, Dahlkemper is seen as particularly vulnerable to attacks over health care. Susan B. Anthony List is most well-known for helping pro-life women win elected office.

The race is currently No. 2 on the pa2010.com Congressional Power Rankings.

Anti-Aborts love “lists” just as our good
friends from Al Qaida do. Being on the charts of either of these humanistic street gangs is generally not good for one’s, uh, health,
    you dig?
