Compare the Candidates
By GERLACH FOR CONGRESS
(Glenmoore, PA) – Today, the Gerlach for Congress campaign released a fully documented candidate comparison on its website which allows voters to compare Congressman Jim Gerlach’s record with fringe candidate Manan Trivedi. Aside from his already established extreme positions including a socialized, single-payer health care plan that goes far beyond ObamaCare, and amnesty for 10-15 million illegal immigrants, Trivedi has given an explicit endorsement of using taxpayer funds for abortions and condom distribution in public schools.
“People are losing their jobs, money is tight for Pennsylvania families, and the government has not let up on massive new taxes and spending that will now triple our national debt. Taxpayers, families, seniors and young adults understand that this government spending has to stop. Unfortunately, Mr. Trivedi doesn’t and if elected he’d force taxpayers to pay for abortions and free condom distribution in our public schools. Regardless of whether you are liberal, moderate or conservative, Trivedi’s positions can only be classified as extreme,” said Mark Campbell, spokesman for Gerlach for Congress. “Voters can see the record for themselves.”
The comparison between 6th district candidates can be viewed online at www.jimgerlachforcongress.com/comparing-the-candidates .
This week, Trivedi was added to San Francisco Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s “Red-to-Blue” program, which is designed to help elect key supporters of her agenda to Congress. It remains unclear whether Pelosi’s campaign arm, the DCCC, knew of Trivedi’s far-left positions on these issues before agreeing to help him.
“Red-to-blue will be more like Black-and-Blue when voters learn about Trivedi’s out-of-touch positions. Every voter needs to read this comparison to clearly understand that there is an obvious choice for Congress, and that’s Jim Gerlach,” concluded Campbell.
