State GOP ready for November
Last Tuesday was a great day for the state Republican party. Our Party nominated excellent candidates up and down the ticket. Statewide, all three of our endorsed candidates won in convincing fashion.
U.S. Senate candidate Pat Toomey ran very strong in every area of the state and stands poised to be our next U.S. Senator.
We are also looking forward to taking on Congressman Joe Sestak, or as we have come to refer to him “Joe Says Tax” or “Cataclysmic Joe.” I believe that the results of the Democratic Senate Primary had far more to do with ousting Arlen Specter than it did with nominating Joe Sestak. I am not sure that many Pennsylvanians realize just how liberal Sestak is, but we’re more than prepared to let voters know just how far left he stands on every issue.
For example, Sestak believes the stimulus didn’t spend enough, thinks cap-and-trade should have included more regulations and believes the health care bill should have included more mandates and should spend more. Conversely, Pat Toomey is interested in finding ways to cut the size of government, reduce taxes and return fiscal discipline to Washington. Quite frankly, on many important issues facing our country, these two candidates are extremely different. Click here to watch the latest Toomey television ad highlighting the differences between himself and Joe Says Tax. In this race, voters will have a clear choice. If you want higher taxes, increased spending and more government – vote for Joe Sestak. If you want fiscal discipline, less taxes and the government to get out of our lives – vote for Pat Toomey.
The race to be our next Pennsylvania Governor is also set and we feel very excited about Tom Corbett’s chances to take back the Governor’s mansion. Tom Corbett’s record of taking on waste and corruption speaks for itself and we are confident that he is the right candidate to create jobs, reduce spending and fix Harrisburg. Along with his running-mate Jim Cawley, they have the experience and drive to take on the problems facing our state head on and will do so with the best interests of the hardworking families of Pennsylvania in mind.
In one of the worst economic climates since the Great Depression, leave it to the Democrats to nominate the only candidate in this race with a tax named after him. Dan “The Drink Tax Man” Onorato has already shown us his cards. When tough economic times hit our state, like they are right now, Dan Onorato will raise our taxes and spend more of our hard-earned money.
The primary election was a great first step. As the saying always goes, great candidates win elections. If that is true, our candidates are headed towards a number of impressive victories on November 2nd.

Guys this is the reason why 1.2 Million voters switched parties over the past 8 years nothing to offer nothing good to say.
Say you don’t like the health care bill why didn’t the Reps already in office stand up and offer some of their own ideas to the debate instead we just heard NO.
The Health care bill fixed something called the Donut hole remember med care part D guys.

Glad to see the PAGOP is still forgoing substance in favor of name calling.
As a registered voter in Pennsylvania, I don’t want my politicians to tell me what they’re going to do or how their party is going to take on the pressing issues of the day. NO SIR! I want my politicians to demonstrate their wit and schoolyard intellect with a showing of some good, old fashioned name calling with plenty of puns. Even if they don’t know what a homonym is, that doesn’t mean they can’t use it to their advantage.
For more witty puns on their opponents’ names, vote Republican this year!

It’s kind of hard not to “run well” as a Senate candidate in a GOP primary when you’re the only candidate anybody gives a s$!t about. That’s like being surprised the Congressional Black Caucus chooses an African-American Congressman as their leader, or that the PA delegation chooses somebody from PA. Shock!
But seriously, get past all the name-calling and try to actually explain how more of the bs we had during the Bush years from that fun “rubber-stamp” Congress is good for any of us.

Isaac – I am sure that most PA Repubs don’t know what a homonym is, and I’m equally certain they’d tell you that they never want their brother to marry one.

Is this same state GOP that told everyone they could win the 12th Congressional District? Oh, we have this rich guy and he looks and sounds like Santorum-lite (most GOP staff are former Santorum operatives). What a waste of money!! It was not going to happen and coming close doesn’t mean crap. And now they say they were “surprised” that more Democrats than expected showed up to vote out Specter and that affected the Congressional race. You mean you didn’t take that logical event into consideration?
These guys don’t have a clue!

Yes. But they probably experimented with homonyms in school.

Wow…I did not know that everyone on pa2010.com was so liberal. This is surprising.

If only everyone could be as ignorant as David’s bosses would hope they are. The Democrats might have an easier time.
Unfortunately Moonbat David will call out Republicans on these kinds of things, and yet

I guess sending out press releases criticizing the decorations of a commercial is the best thing Democrats can do. Also, God forbid we criticize anyone of the Obama supporters in 2008 who called Bush a Nazi, which is nothing compared to the names for Dan, atleast those names are true.
But its even better that the dem staffers still have the policy of telling everyone that the GOP is the party of no.

I have showed various versions of news of the GOP and the context of the GOP health proposal. Unfortunately nobody sees that bill because it doesnt make it out of committee. Moonbat David wants everyone to think that the Republicans are not concerned, when in reality as much as they want to help put out the fire, the Democrats popped their tires.

Republicans are the arsonists who started the fire, they have shown no inclination to do anything but put roadblocks up in front of the firefighters.
GOP Healthcare ideas were a bad joke. buy insurance across state lines? Does that mean that all the insurance co.’s set up offices in the states that require the least amount of coverage for the most money? You betcha.

Mike, interesting thoughts, but the GOP is bad news for the country until it actually formulates an idea of its own – that is, formulated policy alternatives rather than gut-induced ideological reactions to what the Democrats are actually DOING.
(By the way, the equities markets have skyrocketed from their recession lows – the S&P increased nearly 40% from its Jan 2009 low to now. Thank President Obama and the Dem. Congress.)
The country needs a legislature comprised of (at a minimum) two political parties each of which has a set of policies and plans. Presently, the Democrats have that while the Republicans do not – all they can do is don pouty-face sand shout ‘NO!’ This makes them look inept, doesn’t accomplish anything, and hurts the country.
