Report: GOP buys airtime in 12th District
The first independent expenditure in the 12th District special election has hit the airwaves.
The Hill reports that the National Republican Congressional Committee has made its first ad buy in the district. On its Web site, the Capitol Hill newspaper cited an anonymous source but did not indicate the size of the ad buy or the nature of any actual advertisements.
The disclosure came with Republican Tim Burns reportedly in the midst of a large ad buy of his own, and with Senator Bob Casey campaigning in the district on behalf of Democrat Mark Critz.

Who is this “Bob Casey” person? Does he work in government? Has he done anything for Pennsylvanians or introduced any important bills? I wouldn’t recognize this guy if he passed me on the street.

Conservative senior citizens know who he is and who is father was…and that is the group that will be voting on May 19th. Casey can only help Critz, who is an unknown first-time candidate.

Steve, The election is May 18th! Or maybe your an R and thats your game, confuse the senior citizens as to when the election is because you know they don’t have your vote. But to Bill now: S. 3133 » A bill to provide for the construction, renovation, and improvement of medical school facilities, and other purposes. – Sen. Bob Casey-Sponsor 03/17/10 (Seems to me we could use a bill like this since more people will have health care now–more medical jobs!)
Oh there are pages of these Bill, check out Casey’s website.
I can’t wait to see the positive message and plan that the GOP is paying to advertise, hmmph.

Didn’t Casey vote against a bill to defund ACORN? Hmm. That tells you all you need to know about the scumbag. And Critz wants to campaign with him? He’s just as dirty then by default.

One vote doesn’t define a career Jim. The GOP will never beat Casey. 1) He has close to universal name recognition in the state. 2) The PA GOP candidate pool will be drained in 2012 so they won’t be able to put anyone worth a lick up against him. 3) He is becoming a power player in Barack Obama’s Washington which will reap major benefits for PA. 4)You filthy Republicans that carry the pro-life banner (Yet do nothing legislatively on the issue) can’t use it as a wedge issue against him.
Bob Casey exudes a warm soft spoken confidence in public but you can almost sense that in the confines of 393 Russell SOB he is a cold, calculating colossus waiting to quietly unleash the dogs on his next opponent.
Love him or hate, Bob Casey is a stark contrast to his cock sure and loose lipped predecessor.

A warm soft spoken confidence? Geez, are you sleeping with the guy, TB? Sounds like your man-crush on Casey is almost as disturbing as David Diano’s with Specter. Kind of creepy.
