NRA Gives Mark Critz ‘A’ Rating
By CRITZ FOR CONGRESS
Johnstown, Penn. – The Critz for Congress campaign announced today that the National Rifle Association gave Mark Critz a coveted “A” rating based on his responses to the National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund’s questionnaire.
“I am proud to receive an ‘A’ rating from the National Rifle Association,” said Mark Critz. “In Congress I will stand up to those who want to weaken the 2nd Amendment and will work to ensure the rights of gun owners are not violated.”
Critz believes the 2nd Amendment guarantees an individual right to keep and bear arms regardless of where a person lives in the United States. He opposes banning firearms and will fight additional restrictions on law abiding citizens. Critz also believes that hunting is a valuable use of wildlife resources and an important tool for wildlife population management.
“The 2nd Amendment ensures that law abiding citizens have the basic right to own firearms for hunting, protection and personal collections,” said Critz. “In Congress, I will fight to ensure that this fundamental right is upheld by opposing any legislation that seeks to limit access to or ban the ownership of guns by American citizens.”
Mark Critz is running against Tim Burns in the May 18th special election for U.S. House in Pennsylvania’s 12th congressional district. View the rating at http://www.nrapvf.org/Elections/State.aspx?y=2010&State=PA.
