Biden reportedly to stump for Critz

Biden reportedly to stump for Critz

The Democrats’ special election candidate in the 12th Congressional District is about to get some vice presidential help.

Nervous about the race to succeed John Murtha, the Obama administration is sending Joe Biden to campaign for Mark Critz later this month, Politico reports. It remains unclear exactly when and where Biden will appear in the southwest Pennsylvania district.

The Politico report also reveals other ways in which national party leaders are mobilizing to make sure Murtha’s seat remains in the Democratic column. Longtime party advertising consultant Saul Shorr has reportedly been tapped to head up an independent expenditure effort in the district.

“I think there’s nervousness,” a senior Democratic strategist told the Web site. “The dynamics of the individual races are not great for different reasons. Coming off the health care passage and with the general concern for November, they are worried that the races are taking on an elevated importance and that they don’t deserve to be.”

Awesome, I miss heading stories about Biden and his “Scranton Roots” even though he left Scranton half a century ago. Wonder why they aren’t sending Obama to the 12th? I’ll tell you why, people there hate him. I’m in the 12th and I can’t repeat the words they use to describe Obama. He would need an uparmored Humvee to come to the 12th. People here really, really believe he is the anti-Christ. Obama has completely lost white people in this country, and western pa is not the best place for him to be showing his face right now. He knows that. Critz knows that. Everyone knows that. He’s a failed president.

How does a President who has “completely lost white people” in this country maintain at least a 50% approval rating? It isn’t all minorities who approve of him, that would not be enough to make up that number. I’m a white person–he hasn’t lost me. My relatives are white people–they support him too. Come to think of it, I’d say most of the Democrats I run into who also happen to be white people support him–what percentage of Democrats in this country are white I wonder? Enough to make your comment that the Predident has “completely lost white people”, completely assinine. Congratulions, good try with your attempt at logic there.

What exactly has this President done to incite the hatred of so many “white people” as you claim? Advocating for healthcare reform that allows people (including white people) to get better medical care and stop getting cheated by the insurance companies? How affirming that chumps let their racism trump what is in their own best interests and will let themselves continue to be exploited because of it — guess it’s okay long as you’re being exploited and cheated by other white people. Wake up! Don’t be a patsy all your life because you think the “dark people” are out to get you.

It’s sad that you would say the democratically elected President of the United States would need to travel in an “uparmored Humvee” in certain parts of our country and it “would not be safe for him to show his face there.”. I would hope those deluded dupes who have had evil planted in their hearts and minds and who would try to make it unsafe for him to travel to the PA-12th would realize it’s treasonous to cause harm to the democratically elected head of state of the country they profess to love in the same breath–regardless of what color he is.

Think about what you’re saying before you say it, lest you bring shame on yourself.

Molly, just what poll has Obama with “at least a 50% approval rating?” The Daily Kos? Huffington Post? The Liberal Freakshow Post? What insane, leftist poll are you looking at? Where were you with your calls of treason during the Bush Administration? Yeah, nowhere to be seen. Things said 2 years ago by Democrats are now suddenly treasonous to be said today. Say all the racist, bigoted insults you want, but this pasty, deluted dupe will never, ever vote for another Democrat…and this is coming from a life-long Democrat who recently changed his party. You people are for the little guy? Don’t make me laugh. I have nothing but spit for your liberal messiah.

I work in the 12th 3-4 times a week as a consultant and I must tell you that the nice people in the 12th needs Obama help more than most in the state. Either you are just a RWNJ or never read a paper outside the 12th. I can’t make you read a real newspaper nor watch a real news channel, you really need to get away from Faux Noise. Who knows I may even work for or with you. I sure hope not as you are rather dumb and very unworldly.

Right wing nut job, faux noise, unwordly, dumb, blah blah blah. You gave a lot of insults, but you didn’t back it up with any facts. The FACTS are that the 12th is one of the poorest districts in PA. The FACTS are that it has been a Democrat stronghold for decades. They do not need more handouts. They do not need more people on welfare, sucking on the gov’t teet. Someone would have to be almost insane to look at the 12th and say that their problem is a lack of government involvement and MORE social programs will save them. The 12th is right up with Philadelphia, Detroit, and Newark as prime examples of the failures of liberalism.
