Texas? Really?

We learned last week that Texas attorney Ron Mackell Jr., apparently also a former resident of Johnstown, has thrown his hat in the ring for the May Democratic primary here in the 12th Congressional District.

Really? Texas?

Man, they’re really coming out of the woodwork to try and score themselves a seat in Congress, aren’t they?

Uh, what I meant to say was, to seek the opportunity to have the honor of serving the good people of Pennsylvania’s 12th District.

Yeah, that’s what I meant to say…
