Patrick Murphy’s amnesia

One of the newspapers of record in Bucks County has pointed out—in not so uncertain terms—that Congressman Patrick Murphy (D-8) is having a bit of “amnesia.” I’m not saying it but The Intelligencer editorial board is (disclosure: I work for Mike Fitzpatrick, one of Murphy’s potential Republican opponents). They make strong mention of the fact that Murphy has some of his facts, figures, and percentages wrong.

In addition, Murphy is taking absolute credit for the Washington Crossing National Cemetery getting done just because of him. The Intelligencer calls him out and says, uh, not so fast. There was another Bucks County congressman named Mike Fitzpatrick that also had something to do with it.

In addition, Murphy talks about “cleaning up Sarah Palin’s mess.” Last I checked, she’s hardly an elected official who could be blamed for the country’s ills.

Congressman, you were saying?
