Onorato says he’s got $6.7M on hand
Democratic candidate Dan Onorato’s campaign said Wednesday that it has racked up more than $9 million in the Allegheny County Executive’s bid for the Governor’s Mansion, and that it will report having $6.7 million in cash on hand when campaign finance reports are filed next week.
Onorato has long led the money race among candidates in both parties; about $2 million from his total war chest was left over from his 2007 reelection campaign. This week, he became the first candidate in the race to run TV advertisements, in a race where voters are mostly unfamiliar with the four Democratic candidates.
The campaign also said it brought in more than $900,000 just in the first three months of this year.
“We are very excited about the financial support the campaign has received from across Pennsylvania,”campaign manager Kevin Kinross said in a statement. “These resources have allowed the campaign to develop an extensive field effort that, combined with our tremendous grassroots support, led to the collection of more than 20,000 signatures, roughly as many as were collected by the other three candidates combined.”
None of the other candidates had released their fundraising numbers Wednesday afternoon. Campaign finance reports will be filed next Tuesday.

6.7 Million should buy more than sucky commercials. Of course, it prob is more expensive when making them for “Dano the big reformer… who’s stood up against all these special interests.”
Good thing his campaign money is falling off of trees, as opposed to Onorato being bought and paid for or something.

Onorato is a joke, just like Ravensthal. They should both be in prison.

Now that the right win fringe has had its say(filled with baseless accusations levied at an upstanding citizen) . . . . Does anyone think Tommy Boy can catch Dan the Man in the money race?

Ah yes, money is no problem now for the anointed one. And where exactly did all this money come from? Ummm, that would be the special interests. Bought. Paid for.
This is why I like Joe Hoeffel. He’s not going to stab us in the back like Onorato will. It’s time for change in Pennsylvania politics!!

Onorato is a corporate tool. He is the kind of sold out corporatist Dem who cost us the public option and our choice in health care. When there is a choice between people and donors, he chooses donors. Joe is a true progressive and honest.

Joe Hoeffel is also a proven, state wide loser.

Onarato at the corporate trough. He’s working to sell out the middle class and hand our Commonwealth over to big fat corporations.
