Issa set to ask for special prosecutor on Sestak’s job-offer claim
Congressman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) is keeping up his push to find out more about whether Congressman Joe Sestak (D-7) was really offered a job in exchange for dropping his Senate primary run against Arlen Specter.
Issa told CBS News that he will call for a special prosecutor if the White House doesn’t address his questions on the matter. Sestak has been asked about it repeatedly since first making the claim during an interview with Larry Kane, and the White House has offered only tepid denials.
“If the public doesn’t receive a satisfactory answer,” Issa said, “the next step would be to call for a special prosecutor, which is well within the statute.”

It would be a pretty big club.
Joe has amazing dexterity. He can put his foot his mouth and shoot himself in the foot all at the same time.

Bryan H: Indeed. Representative Sestak has no allegiance to the Democratic Party; he is a self-interested, self-involved, self-seeking, self-serving demagogue, and always has been. Perhaps those who have voiced support for Sestak in times past will at last come to this realization. Sestak is a narcissistic man whose sole aim to further his own narrow interests (and those of lawbreaking labor racketeers).
Westpadem6: Oh he will be. He will be…

If this is the worst they can pin on Sestak, he’ll still stand head and shoulders above the snake he’s running against.
Issa no doubt wants a prosecutor on the case, because that’s one less they can sic on him.

Issa=Specter crony. Who’s throwing the White House under the bus?
When Issa needed a Senate sponsor for his patent-judge bill, who did he go to? Snarlin’ Arlen, of course:
Thurs., Jan. 22, 2009 – U.S. Senator Arlen Specter (R-PA), Ranking Member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, U.S. Representative Darrell Issa (R-CA), Ranking Member of the Oversight and Government Reform Committee…today introduced the Senate and House companion bills…
“Sen. Specter’s support for this legislation is a critical boost,” Rep. Issa…
Now Issa is just returning the favor.

The little admiral is so self centered, I should know as he is my congressman in the 7th. He does nothing but collects a big salary. I can;t wait till May and the primary when he is bad history . If your thought Weldon to be bad, Joe is much worse in most people’s eyes. He will wind up making more money on K street, mark my words. I just wish people would know the snake that he is, those that do will never support him. Bye, Bye Joe the snake
