Hoeffel joins in the Corbett criticism
Bashing Attorney General Tom Corbett is becoming something of a favored pastime among Pennsylvnaia Democrats.
Another potential gubernatorial opponent to Corbett got into the act Monday, when Montgomery County Commissioner Joe Hoeffel accused Corbett of “acting in collusion with a bloc of right-wing state attorneys general to advance an extremist agenda.”
Hoeffel made his comments during a news conference at the Capitol in Harrisburg. He said Corbett has worked with other state attorneys general against the interest of his constituents before. Corbett has defended his participation in a lawsuit seeking to block newly-enacted health care reform legislation as an appropriate action to stop what he argues is an unconstitutional law.
“Unfortunately, Tom Corbett has gotten swept up in partisan madness and lost sight of what’s best for Pennsylvanians,” Hoeffel said in a statement. “His actions demonstrate he is acting in collusion with a bloc of right-wing state Attorneys General to advance an extremist agenda.”

Hoeffel needs to worry about his own campaign. There is plenty to keep him busy with that.

Was this the same presser in which Joe Hoeffel smeared all the people who are opposed to Health Care Reform by calling them “teabagging tea partiers?”
