Critz is not a career politician. He is a career federal staffer. He worked as the district director for Mr. Murtha. He was Murtha's "guy on the ground" back home while Jack was in DC. Critz has WORKED tirelessly FOR THE PEOPLE of the 12th for years! He knows the people of the 12th AND he knows the players in Washington. In short--No orientation period, he'll know what to do and who to talk to when he gets there to get things done on our behalf. Now Hafer and Cernic on the other hand, now they ARE career politicians who are only in it for themselves. Cernic is just power hungry and Hafer running a negative campaign already) at 66 years of age is probably just grooming her daughter to take over when she retires should she win the seat (but she won't.) And Hafer is already all sour grapes because of the "backroom" vote that 12th District Democratic leaders cast in Critz' favor. Don't give us the babe of the woods routine Babs. Yes, he was good for his district, but so was Huey Long. Earmarks like Murtha championed are bad for the country. We don't need another old-style hack who follows in those footsteps. Hafer also is a wrong choice. Just another career politician. We need fresh ideas, fresh faces, people who are in tune with the future. And preferably someone who will be elected, do a great job for a few terms, and then voluntarily leave. Time for new people.
