Corrections and clarifications

A couple mistakes we’ve got to own up to this week.

An article on Friday about a voter who says her signature was forged on one of Pat Meehan’s nominating petitions rendered incorrectly a word from a quote by the voter, Terry Bradley. As the headline stated, Bradley said it was “appalling” that her signature was forged. She did not say it was “appealing.”

An article on Wednesday about a poll being hyped by Joe Hoeffel’s gubernatorial campaign may have left the incorrect impression that the poll was commissioned by the Hoeffel campaign. As the article later stated, it was commissioned by a group of pro-choice women and conducted by Hoeffel’s campaign pollster. But it was not a Hoeffel campaign poll.
