Trivedi Overwhelmingly Endorsed by Chester County Democrats
By TRIVEDI FOR CONGRESS
WEST CHESTER, Pa – With the primary election season in full swing, the Chester County Democratic Committee gathered today to make endorsements for local and statewide candidates. In the hotly contested race for the sixth congressional district, Democrats threw their support to Manan Trivedi.
Trivedi was challenged for the endorsement by both Doug Pike and Brian Gordon, but was still able to receive over 70 percent of the vote.
“This is obviously a game-changer,” said Trivedi campaign manager Ed Niles. “Every day that Manan goes out and speaks to people of this district and tells them about his comprehensive plan to create jobs, to ensure everyone has health care and to change the system in Washington, the more they join us in our fight to build a better Pennsylvania,” Niles concluded.
Manan Trivedi is a primary care physician, a former Lt. Commander in the U.S. Navy and an Iraq War veteran from Berks County.
