MIA Meehan Continues to Duck Voters, Issues

Harrisburg: While the rest of the candidates in Pennsylvania’s 7th Congressional district prepare to debate on Sunday, former Bush Administration official Pat Meehan continues to duck the voters and the issues.  After refusing to take positions on key subjects throughout the course of his campaign, this morning it was reported that MIA Meehan is skipping a debate this weekend in Springfield. This latest episode has voters wondering what he has to hide and questioning whether or not Meehan is capable of serving in Congress.

“Former Bush Administration official Pat Meehan continues to run and hide instead of standing before the voters and making tough decisions about the future of the 7th district,” said Pennsylvania Democratic Party spokesman Patrick Mckenna.  “Meehan’s decision to skip Sunday’s debate is a disservice to voters and raises serious about whether he’s capable to serve in Congress.”
