Excellent speech, Dr. Trivedi, and good luck for the nomination. Let us Dems learn the lesson Scott Brown and Martha Coakley taught us, and go for the hard-working, charismatic, educated, thoughtful candidate rather than the wealthy boring candidate with nothing else on his resume.

It sad to see the Pike campaign run on the idea they are the strongest candidate for the general election. Voters never like candidates who act like that and it won’t resonate well with the left. It’s too bad really, you know that campaign won’t walk back from that talking point and on March 11th when Montco back Trivedi it will essentially be over for Pike.

So just a quick recap on what has just taken place in the 6th district: Trivedi get’s the endorsement from probably the most crucial county of all in the 6th district. The reasoning: according to the Chester Co. dems. website….”mostly his compelling story” and his healthcare stance” If you look at Pike’s website and Trivedi’s they state the exact same thing, but I guess manny T has been giving different answers to people personally. Very odd. Next up Wlech dropped out. The only guy who was going to push Gerlach on the R side, with his hundreds of thousands on hand he would have drained Gerlach. So now, Pike who is the only one left with the money for Gerlach has lost his establishment support because of his lack of “story”.

Great, Gerlach gets 2 more years. What a sad sights for dems.

Congratulations to Mr. Trivedi on the Chester County endorsement! Born and raised in Berks, a Doctor, AND an Iraq war veteran who served on the front lines saving lives? Sounds quite compelling. From some of the Pa2010 articles and posts I’ve read, I don’t know much about Pike other than he has some money.

Instead of telling us what Mr. Pike has to offer, I primarily see low-level responses trying to bring down Trivedi. Do Pike supporters actually have anything to share about his record or ideas? What’s Mr. Pike’s plan if he makes it to Congress? Will he bring ideas and solutions, or will he send his bank account to debate issues? Until I see something of substance from Mr. Pike, my vote will stay with Mr. Trivedi.

the 6th is screwed for D’s. Their going to throw it away on Trivedi who is a traitor and who Gerlach will call out for his roots in the general and freak out all the fired up GOP’ers. Call it what you will Pike can ACTUALLY push Gerlach….but everything thinks this fat doctor can do something. Oh brother. And somehow Pike is getting his assed kicked. Great. Have another 2 years Jim.

I think it would be wise for Dems to learn from mistakes of the past. Martha Coakley was rich, but totally uninspiring, entitled…I see alot of similarities between Doug Pike and Martha Coakley. Dems should learn because someone is boring and rich and entitled, they are not entitled to win a congressional seat. Voters won’t vote for Pike in the general despite his coffers.
