State Senator Andy Dinniman Endorses Arlen Specter
By ARLEN SPECTER FOR SENATE
Harrisburg – Chester County State Senator Andy Dinniman today endorsed Senator Arlen Specter for re-election.
“It is my privilege to endorse Senator Specter,” said Dinniman, who represents Chester and Montgomery counties in the state Senate. “His knowledge and experience make him best suited to continue representing the citizens of Chester and Montgomery counties, and of Pennsylvania.
“And having the Senator at the top of the Democratic ticket this fall puts us in the best position to win,” said Dinniman.
“Senator Dinniman is a top notch public servant and his endorsement means a lot to my campaign in Chester County and throughout the suburbs,” said Specter. “I welcome his support and guidance.”
Specter has collected several key endorsements recently. Yesterday more than a dozen Democratic leaders in the Lehigh Valley endorsed Senator Specter; in addition Philadelphia’s Democratic Ward Leaders unanimously endorsed him as well.
Earlier this month the 77,000 member Philadelphia Building Trades Council endorsed Specter, as did the Scranton Federation of Teachers.
