Terrorism’s biggest impact is to our wallets. More people die from traffic accidents than terrorists. The GOP likes to ramp up the fear of terrorism (helping the terrorist achieve their goals), and ignores problems that affect more lives. The “war on terror” is crippling the economy because Bush and his GOP lackeys refused to raise taxes on the top 1% to pay for it.

Healthcare is a problem because the GOP is siding with the insurance industry over the population and putting political obstructionism over the nation’s welfare.

All reasons why a party tool like Meehan shouldn’t be in any government job that doesn’t involve emptying waste paper baskets.

In the Senate race much was made about Rick Santorum living and sending his kids to school in Va. As a result, Senator Casey’s family lives in NE Pennsylvania while he serves in DC. Is this so he avoids the same criticism heaped on Santorum? It appears that why.

In the Congressional race, Weldon questioned Sestak’s residency, which was countered by explaining his daughter’s medical treatment. Sestak further explained if/when he won he would move to the district. He never did. Now it appears a parallel is being drawn using by exploiting the Lantz family tragedy, (neither campaign is doing this, only the bloggers).

In both instances, much time and ink was spent on issues that have nothing to do how we are represented in DC. Pat Meehan’s position on Civera is irrelevant, Lentz’s position on DeWeese is irrelevant, and answering these question tells us nothing of their position on Healthcare, the economy, terrorism, etc. These are the issues that actually impact our lives.

“Working for Karl Rove” means doing his political bidding, not directly working for him. I guess you learned something else new today.

Don’t forget, Rove was in charge of selecting the Justice Dept political firings and the subsequent cover up.
