Hoeffel plans kick-off events

Four months after he announced his candidacy for governor in an interview with pa2010.com, Montgomery County Commissioner Joe Hoeffel is planning a series of campaign kick-off events next week.

Hoeffel’s campaign is holding three events next Tuesday for which the Democrat will travel across the state.

He’s starting with an 8:30 a.m. appearance at the City-County building in Pittsburgh, continuing with a 1 p.m. event at the Capitol in Harrisburg and finishing up with a 5 p.m. stop at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia.

Hoeffel is one of five Democrats seeking the party’s nomination to succeed Gov. Ed Rendell.
