Congresswoman Dahlkemper’s Campaign Ends 2009 with over $1 Million Raised
By KATHY DAHLKEMPER FOR CONGRESS
Erie, PA – In a display of strong support, Congresswoman Kathy Dahlkemper (PA-3) today announced that her campaign raised over $1 Million for the 2010 election cycle and ended 2009 with $683,890.86 on hand. In all, over 60% is from Pennsylvania, proving that Dahlkemper enters the 2010 campaign with strong local support for her commitment to fiscal responsibility and bringing jobs to western Pennsylvania.
“I’m proud to have so many people supporting my efforts, I believe the overwhelming amount of support we’ve received over the past year is a true testament to my commitment to fiscal responsibility and my work to bring jobs to our communities,” said Congresswoman Dahlkemper.
“While I’m proud of all that we’ve accomplished in my first year in Congress, much more needs to be done to get our economy back on track. I’m committed to doing all I can to bring jobs and economic recovery to our region, and these efforts will remain my focus moving forward.”
Congresswoman Dahlkemper is in her first term representing Pennsylvania’s 3rd Congressional district in Washington. She is a member of the fiscally conservative Blue Dog coalition and recently called for a freeze in non-defense discretionary spending and the creation of a commission to help reduce the long term national debt, both proposals which were endorsed by President Obama during Wednesday’s State of the Union address.
