Aide says Hufford’s in for now
Geologist Walt Hufford isn’t jumping ship just yet.
Shortly after Congressman Jim Gerlach (R-6) announced that he’s seeking reelection, political consultant Robert Miner said Hufford, a Republican, is “staying in, as of now.”
“Right now, Walt’s in the race, and he welcomes the congressman back to the race,” Miner said.

give it a go! What else do you have to lose? You have Jimmy G. who is a little too moderate for some voters, and the party gives him a free pass every 2 years to face (usually) weak dems. It’s time for him to prove he cares about the district and not himself (like it seemed with his choice to try the guv race). Now he needs to the district again…..come on GOP stand up for yourselves.
