‘NoShowJoe’ Sestak Misses More House Votes But Finds Time To Liveblog Minutes Later
By ARLEN SPECTER FOR SENATE
Washington, D.C. — Congressman Joe Sestak missed two more votes yesterday evening in the House of Representatives but found time to participate in a liveblog minutes after the missed votes.
Sestak, who already sports the worst attendance record among the Pennsylvania House Delegation, missed his 126th vote at 6:58 pm and his 127th vote at 7:06 pm but found time to participate in a liveblog at 8 pm on Pam’s House Blend (http://www.pamshouseblend.com/upload/liveblog/ChoiSestak.html)
Sestak has the 13th worst attendance record in the entire House of Representatives. His 127 missed votes this year represent 13% of all votes in the House.
“This is yet another example of Cong. Joe Sestak putting his quest to receive a political promotion he hasn’t earned above his duty to his constituents,” said Christopher Nicholas, Senator Arlen Specter’s campaign manager. “It’s no wonder that people have begun referring to Cong. Sestak as NoShowJoe.”
