No decision yet from Zelov
NEW YORK—Lower Merion Township Commissioner Scott Zelov says he hasn’t yet decided whether to join the crowded GOP primary in the 6th Congressional District. But as he joined at least two other potential opponents at Congressman Charlie Dent’s party here Saturday afternoon, it was clear he had come to New York to stir up some interest in his candidacy.
“The reception’s been wonderful,” Zelov said. “I know a lot of people, I’ve met a lot of people, and a lot of people have agreed to help me.
“I’m still seriously considering getting into the campaign,” he added, saying a decision would come “shortly.”
His comments came just a week after pa2010.com reported that he might run.

Does anyone, I mean anyone, give a sh*t about Scott Zelov? The Jim Matthews’ toad of Lower Merion.

The Zelov campaign motto: “I will crush you like I crushed La Ronda.” Inaction in action.

That “Jim Matthews toad” comment is telling. The biggest hesitation I hear from people on Zelov is that he would be the Matthews candidate. Fair or not, that label has killed any candidate on whom it has stuck for two years. Scott would be well served to try to rub the matthews moniker off before it hardens into place.

It’s fair. He thought Matthews letter to the committee two years ago defending his deal with Hoeffel “was great” and he’s Matthews lapdog on the county planning commission, pushing the economic development and traffic crap that Matthews has done with Hoeffel.
Maybe he’s had a change of heart (people who want to run for office these days normally do), but I doubt it.
I think his worst judgement was backing Ken Davis for chairman. Twice.

That does it for me. He’s the “Matthews” candidate. What a mistake in judgment. With judgment like that, he is too much of a fool to be in Congress. Wait, sorry I lost my head there for a minute. He’s perfect for that crew! Heck, let’s run Matthews!

With the standing murder charges and widespread criminal public corruption surrounding the Lower Merion Township Commissioners, Scott Zelov is major political poison to any party. The community has had enough of “more of the same” in government.
Email ncssi@msn.com for the scope of this public corruption in Lower Merion/Montgomery County.
