LEFTOVERS: Onorato’s surprise endorsement, another editorial hits Corbett & another ‘Real Specter’ video
Dan Onorato’s campaign has a secret. The Allegheny County executive and gubernatorial hopeful will be receiving a “major endorsement” Saturday in Philadelphia, the campaign told reporters Thursday. No hints were given. Guesses, anyone? If it means anything, the endorsement will be given at the Teamsters Local 107 Hall.
Another newspaper editorial page thinks it’s time for state Attorney General Tom Corbett to either resign his office or shelve his race for governor, now that the first Bonusgate trial is underway. “Overseeing the Bonusgate prosecution requires a full-time attorney general,” The Intelligencer Journal in Lancaster wrote this week. “Running for governor is a full-time job. Corbett should make a choice.”
And Joe Sestak’s campaign continues to talk about “The Real Arlen Specter.” The latest in its series of videos highlights Specter’s support for the Bush tax cuts. Check it out below:

Interesting. Sestak ad says:
“Arlen Specter voted with them and against us.”
Hmmm…
So when Joe Sestak to fund the Iraq War without timetables or accountability, betraying his campaign promises, who was “them” and “us”?
When Joe Sestak voted to fund Dick Cheney’s office, after Cheney declared himself an unaccountable 4th branch of government, who was “them” and “us”?
When Joe Sestak voted against States having their own single-payer health care, who was “them” and “us”?
As an active and progressive Democrat, I can safely say: Joe is not one of us.

Patrick Murphy is hardly a major endorsement.
