Kortz: ‘We’re gonna surprise some people’
NEW YORK—State Representative Bill Kortz (D-Allegheny) wants to be the state’s next U.S. Senator. But he can’t even get independent pollsters to include him in their surveys.
“I have not called any of the pollsters,” Korts said Friday.
Kortz’s campaign, he said, commissioned its own poll. He said it found him garnering 11 percent of the primary vote.
“We’re gonna surprise some people,” he said. “They don’t take us for real.”

Dan, you should ask Bill Kortz about his views on gay rights.

Kevin-
I think Kortz is probably where Onorato is. I’ve got an interesting idea on that to run past Dan.
Assuming Kortz’s poll wasn’t taken at family Thanksgiving, if he is going to be on the ballot, he should be in the poll.
He needs 2,000 signatures (after challenges) to get on the ballot. As long as he’s capable of that, he belongs in the poll. With 14% undecided, he can lay claim to them just like Specter or Sestak. If Kortz polled above 10% it would be significant news, and get him more attention.

How could Bill Kortz possibly afford a statewide poll?
