Killion announcing Lt. Gov. run tonight

Three months after forming an exploratory committee, state Representative Tom Killion (R-Delaware) is expected to formally enter the crowded GOP primary for Lieutenant Governor Thursday night.

His exploratory committee has billed an event at the Springfield Country Club as a “major announcement.”

The committee said in an e-mail to reporters that Killion, 168th Legislative District since 2003, has visited more than 20 counties over the last few months.
