With the standing murder charges and widespread criminal public corruption surrounding the Lower Merion Township Commissioners, Scott Zelov and Brian Gordon are both major political poison to any party. The community has had enough of “more of the same” in government.

I think Trivedi is in trouble if another underfunded candidate gets in to split up the primary vote.

Gordon? Wow! The race now has a legitimate winner.

He’s so smart and a great guy.

I like the work he did in Ardmore, the Barnes and St Joes.

If this race gets anymore crowded, I suggest just having a lottery with all registered voters in the 6th district. The winner goes to congress. Everybody puts in 10 bucks, and the 4 million dollars in proceeds can go to a worthy cause in the district.

The day started out promising for Doug Pike in receiving the endorsement from Niki Tsongas. But then just 30 minutes later Manan Trivedi trumps Pike by announcing an endorsement from Rep. Chris Carney. And now we end the day with a potential Democratic candidate emerging from Lower Merion, Montgomery County.

If Brian Gordon jumps into the race it hurts Pike. But even if Gordon decides against running, the mere consideration just illustrates how much of a paper tiger Pike has become. When the DCCC rolls out a candidate and lines up endorsements, it’s suppose to scare away other potential candidates. But just the opposite has happened in PA-06. Pike’s lackluster campaign has not only given life to Trivedi, but has helped Trivedi become a real candidate very capable of winning the Democratic primary.

And now other Democrats are smelling blood from a wounded campaign. They no longer fear Pike and his campaign warchest.
